Before his death, Chor Lau Heung told the secret of a treasure to the Siu family and said that one of his descendants will appear to take it back in sixty years. Someone in the Siu family desired the treasure and because of it, dragged the family down a path that led to their demise. Siu Sap Yat Long's (Felix Wong) father, to prevent the tragedy from happening again, kills his younger brother. Thus, he becomes the only one who knows the secret.

For no reason, Sap Yat Long is connected with the killings of three families in the capital and becomes the number one wanted man in the country. Only Fung Sei Neung (Maggie Siu), who works for the government, believes his innocence. But because of her rank, Sei Neung can only pursue Sap Yap Long like how a soldier pursues a thief.

There is gossip in the martial world that the Deer Carving Saber was related to the treasure. To stop the gossip from continuing to spread, Sap Yap Long steals the saber. Unfortunately, the saber was a fake while the real one was in the hands of a mysterious young master (Mimi Lo). [It's a girl, but the name is Siu Gung Ji]

The young master kidnaps Sam Bik Gwan (Anne Heung), known as the First Beauty of the Martial World. To investigate the truth, Sap Yat Long saves Bik Gwan and they escape. He later falls in love with her, even though she already has a husband.

Sap Yat Long discovers that the young master was only a piece in the mysterious group called Heavenly Ancestors and the dangerously cunning Duke Carefree (Hugo Ng Doi Yung) was the brains behind it. Bik Gwan's husband, Lin Sing Bik (Mark Kwok) was also an important person in the group, but what was even more surprising to Sap Yat Long was that Sing Bik has a close connection with him!

Everything and all can make one find himself out of breath. Sap Yat Long unwillingly brandishes his saber again and cuts away all of the grudges and resentment ...
