SHUM KA PO (TANG SHUI MAN) and HA CHI HIM (CHEUNG SIU CHOW< ADAM) are a married couple with one daughter. The family have lived togther happily, in peace and contentment. HIM, who is busy with work, needs to go on business trips regularly. Bring left at home on her own, PO sometimes feels very lonely and isolated. To pass the time, PO decides to join a social dance class together with her friend LEE SIU MAY (LAU KAM LING, JAN). PO has a crush on dance instructor WAI CHUN KIT (TONG, MICHAEL), but she knows she has to keep her feelings completely under wraps.

PO manages to control herself. But as she discovers that HIM has an affair with his secretary, she can no longer suppress her feelings, and is miserably enslaved to her passion for KIT. Since then, she has been caught up in the struggle with her conscience.
