LAM YAT KONG (DAO TAI YU, MICHAEL) has brought up his brothers YEE YEUNG (SO CHI WAI, EDMOND) and SZ HOI (LEUNG LIT WAI) and his little sister SIU WU (TONG SZE WING) since the deaths of their parents. KONG's third brother SAM HO lost touch with the family when KONG was only thirteen, which has a great blow to him over all these years. But nothing is impossible with hope and belief - KONG and siblings are finally reunited with HO who has his name changed to SIT SHUI (CHAN HO, MOSES). KONG has never been happier to see the whole family together again.

KONG's neighbour KEI HOI SUM (KWOK HO YING, KENIX), owner of a flower tea shop, is distraught over her business that is going down the drain. As a ribbon-flower seller, KONG offers some advice to SUM and has gradually developed feelings for her through his acquaintance with the girl. Regrettably, HO is also in love with SUM, KONG has no choice but to withdraw. Since her mother died, SUM has reared her younger brother and sister MEI LAI (LIU BERNICE JAN), although her father TIN MAN (CHUN PUI, PAUL) is still alive.
