Carry the burdens of ethnics conflicts.

FUNG HANG LIT (LAM RAYMOND) is betrayed by his wife KAN BING WAN (KWOK, SONIJA) and becomes a dummy for the master of the Devil Palace PONG PAN (KWOK JING HUNG) to practise martial arts. LIT escapes and PAN pursues him. Luckily, a chivalrous swordsman HON PAK (WONG CHUNG CHAK, BASCO) saves him. They become very good friends who will die for each other.

LIT searches for WAN to interrogate her. Meanwhile, he meets WAN's junior sister TSUN MUNG YIU (SHEH, CHARMAINE). They become close to each other. LIT finds WAN by chance and discovers that he is a Mongolian prince and that PAN used to be the Prime Minister of the YUEN Dynasty. PAN provokes LIT to overthrow the Ming Dynasty and to reinstake the Yuen Empire. While they are planning their rebellion, LIT practises the "Rain-ceasing Sword Routine".

Unfortunately, PAK is the Ming Emperor CHU YUEN CHEUNG's good friend, despite the great disparity in their age. If LIT is to restore the Yuan Dynasty, both PAK and his powerful "Cloud Ruling Sabre Routine" will be his biggest obstacles.
